We read this fun and creative book, and then used classroom scraps and art items to create our own snow people!

Dice Addition: Children roll two dice and add the amounts. They also record their number sentences.

Domino addition: Another avenue to practice addition and writing number facts.

We have enjoyed working with the Gingerbread Man story! Children had lots of funny ideas about how they would catch the gingerbread man.

I introduced the idea of a 'story map' and children identified the main components of the Gingerbread Man story.

We had so much fun reading the original Gingerbread Man story and all the hilarious versions of the classic tale.
