We enjoyed a follow up You Skills lesson all about SAFETY.
What a great kindergarten book about safety.
Know your name, your parents names, and phone numbers. Know how to dial the emergency number 911. Trust your instinct if you feel fear, danger, or uncomfortable...then report about your feelings.
Kindergarten kids wrote some important ways to stay safe. "Never cross the road without a grownup."
"Never play with guns."
"Never go in water without a grownup."

Happy May!
The first thing I do every Monday morning since September is follow your classes journey through kindergarten on Mrs Rowntree's blog. I am very impressed with all you have learned and all your progress you have made since the start of kindergarten.
ReplyDeleteI am Trevin's grandmother and I live in Indiana, which is 18 hours away by car. I love and miss Trevin very much. and this blog is a way for me to feel closer to him. I love seeing the pictures of Trevin and his classmates. I love seeing what you all have learned each week.
I am leaving this Friday, along with Trevin's grandpa and Uncle Dave to Vermont. We will be there for grandparents day! Can't wait to meet everyone!
Thank you Ms. Rowntree for taking the time to do the class blog. Not only is the blog great memories, but also helps me feel connected to Trevin's school life.
